Peet's Coffee Names New Leader to Drive Growth in Specialty Coffee Market
Peet’s Coffee announced that Rafael Oliveira has been appointed as the new president of its specialty coffee business, marking a significant change at the helm of one of America’s leading coffee companies. Oliveira brings over 25 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, most recently serving as CEO of Keurig Dr Pepper’s Americas division. Prior to that, he held executive roles at several prominent companies, including Starbucks. As president of Peet’s Coffee, Oliveira will be responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy and expanding its reach in the specialty coffee market. He is expected to leverage his expertise in building strong brands and leading high-performing teams to propel Peet’s Coffee forward. “Rafael Oliveira is an exceptional leader with a proven track record of success in the food and beverage industry,” said Asher Gromberg, CEO of Keurig Dr Pepper. “We are confident that he will be instrumental in driving growth and innovation at Peet’s Coffee.” Oliveira succeeds Adam Brotman, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities. The appointment comes as Peet’s Coffee continues to navigate a rapidly changing coffee landscape, with consumers increasingly seeking out high-quality, specialty coffee options.
