Bangladesh to Hold First Post-Uprising Election
Bangladesh is set to hold its first election since the 2024 uprising, marking a significant milestone in the country’s transition. The polls will determine the new parliament and provide an opportunity for voters to weigh in on the “July Charter,” a contentious document that has sparked debate.
The election is notable for the involvement of Gen Z, who now comprise the largest voting bloc. This demographic shift may have implications for the outcome of the election.
