Concerns over Trumps mental acuity rise in recent polls nationwide

A recent survey conducted by Reuters/Ipsos found that a significant majority of Americans believe President Donald Trump’s mental acuity is decreasing with age. The poll, which included responses from 1,200 adults, revealed that 30% of Republicans and 55% of independents share this concern.
According to the results, most Americans (63%) think that Trump has become “erratic” with age, while 21% believe he remains mentally sharp. The remaining 16% are unsure about his mental acuity.
The survey also found that 44% of Democrats and 30% of Republicans think that Trump’s behavior is becoming increasingly erratic, suggesting a significant divide within the Republican base on this issue.
The poll was conducted between January 25 and February 2, 2023.
