David Beckham’s Net Worth Surpasses $1.6 Billion, Becomes First British Billionaire Sportsman
According to the 2026 Sunday Times Rich List, David Beckham has reached a milestone in his wealth, with an estimated net worth of £1.185 billion ($1.583 billion). This places him second on the list of the United Kingdom’s wealthiest sportspeople, behind Bernie Ecclestone’s family, who have a combined wealth valued at £2 billion ($2.7 billion).
Beckham, 51, is a co-owner of Inter Miami, Major League Soccer’s most valuable club, estimated to be worth £1.07 billion ($1.4 billion). He also has lucrative brand ambassador roles with companies such as Adidas and Hugo Boss.
Victoria Beckham, David’s wife, has largely generated her wealth from her fashion label, which was originally launched after she gained fame as a member of the pop band The Spice Girls.
Other notable sportspeople on the list include Lewis Hamilton, seventh with a fortune valued at £325 million ($435 million), and Rory McIlroy, eighth with a valuation of £240 million ($321 million).
Businesspeople with sporting associations also feature on the list. Manchester United co-owner Jim Ratcliffe has dropped down the overall Rich List due to a decline in his petrochemicals company INEOS’ value.
Promoters Barry and Eddie Hearn have joined Britain’s billionaire club, with their combined wealth estimated at £1.035 billion ($1.38 billion).
