Epstein offered chance to purchase US Pentagon and FBI headquarters

US Department of Justice Files Reveal Sensitive Government Property Offer to Jeffrey Epstein

The US Department of Justice has released new files that show Jeffrey Epstein, the late convicted paedophile, was offered a chance to buy into a sprawling building tied to the Department of Defense in 2016. The complex, located approximately 1.6km from the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, is described as a “mission-critical” site and “the only property in Arlington, Virginia other than the Pentagon itself with the ability to meet the space and infrastructure needs of the DOD”. The proposed purchase price was around $116m.

According to the files, Epstein would have become a co-owner and effectively a landlord to the US government. However, there is no evidence that the transaction went ahead. The proposal raises security concerns due to Epstein’s conviction and alleged ties to Israel.

The released documents also reveal Epstein’s connections to Israeli groups, including Friends of the Israeli army and the Jewish National Fund, as well as his relationships with high-ranking officials such as Ehud Barak, a former Israeli prime minister. Epstein maintained a decade-long relationship with Barak and trained as a spy under him.

Additionally, the files show that Epstein was referred to by a businessman named David Stern, who also served as a close aide to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who has recently been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The documents also include proposals for Epstein to invest in FBI field offices and courthouses, which were routed through an offshore entity.

The Pentagon-linked proposal is part of three documents contained within the newly released files, including an email, an investor presentation, and a deal summary.
