Former Formula 1 Champion Sustains Head Injury During Home Invasion Investigation
A police investigation into a reported robbery at a family residence in Switzerland has revealed that four-time Formula One world champion Alain Prost was injured during the incident. According to reports, Swiss authorities are seeking to identify individuals who allegedly broke into the home on Tuesday morning.
Details of the incident indicate that multiple intruders, wearing balaclavas, entered the residence while occupants were present and threatened them. The perpetrators then forced one family member to open a safe before fleeing with stolen items. Prost, 71, sustained a head injury during the incident.
The police have stated that an extensive search operation was launched following the incident, but the perpetrators remain at large. Authorities are currently compiling a precise inventory of the stolen goods.
Prost’s son reportedly played a role in the incident by opening a safe for the intruders. The victim has left his home in Nyon, near Lake Geneva in the Swiss canton of Vaud, and is said to be visibly shaken by the event.
