Four children killed in Uganda nursery school stabbing incident

Ugandan Police Confirm Fatal Attack at Nursery School

A suspect has been taken into custody following an incident at a nursery school in the Ugandan capital, Kampala. According to authorities, four children were killed in a stabbing attack at the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Program school.

The police report that the male suspect entered the school on Thursday and used a sharp object to stab multiple children. Witnesses claim the suspect initially gained access to the school by disguising himself as a parent and briefly interacting with the administrator.

Eyewitnesses described the scene, stating the suspect locked the gate and began attacking the children one after another. A security guard from a nearby church intervened, stopping the suspect before he could cause further harm.

The police have confirmed that at least four children were killed in the attack. The suspect has been apprehended, but authorities are still investigating the motive behind the killings.

This incident is unusual for Kampala, which has a population of approximately three million people. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
