Liverpool Striker Hugo Ekitike Suffers Achilles Tendon Rupture

French international footballer Hugo Ekitike suffered a significant injury during Liverpool’s Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night. According to reports, Ekitike ruptured his Achilles tendon and was stretchered off the field.

The injury occurred during the second leg of the quarterfinal match at Anfield, where Liverpool lost 2-0 and ultimately exited the competition with a 4-0 aggregate defeat.

The French Football Federation (FFF) was unavailable for comment on Ekitike’s condition.
