French Tourists Drown After Boat Capsizes Off Oman Coastline

Three French tourists have died in a boat accident off the coast of Muscat, Oman. According to the Royal Oman Police, 25 French tourists, along with a tour guide and a boat captain, were on board when the vessel capsized in the Gulf of Oman.

The incident occurred approximately 2.5 nautical miles from Sultan Qaboos Port. Three individuals have been confirmed deceased, while two others sustained minor injuries. The police are currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

The boat was carrying a total of 28 people when it capsized. The Royal Oman Police has released a statement indicating that their investigation is ongoing. France’s foreign ministry has not yet issued a comment on the incident.
