Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury weighed in at 267.9 pounds on Friday, ahead of his upcoming bout against Russian boxer Arslanbek Makhmudov. This marks a significant weight reduction from his previous fight in December 2024, where he weighed 281 pounds.

Fury’s opponent, Makhmudov, weighed in at 264.9 pounds. The Briton has been training for 16 weeks in Thailand and has expressed confidence in his abilities, stating that he is “in good form” going into the fight.

In a pre-fight interview, Fury stated that he intends to make a statement by winning the bout and regaining his title. He also emphasized his desire to prove himself as the division’s top draw, despite being out of action for 16 months.

The fight will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night and will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix. Fury has been vocal about his commercial appeal, stating that he is “the money man” in heavyweight boxing.
