Investigations Expand into Ties of Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Howard Lutnick to Jeffrey Epstein

US Department of Justice Releases Investigative Files on Jeffrey Epstein

The US Department of Justice has released a large cache of documents related to late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, shedding new light on his connections with prominent individuals. The files, spanning 3 million pages, were made available on Friday, exceeding the December 19 deadline set by legislation for their publication.

Among those whose connections are now more clearly defined are Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Tesla founder Elon Musk. Draft emails suggest that Gates was allegedly involved in extramarital affairs with Epstein, while seeking his assistance in procuring drugs to address issues related to sex with Russian girls. The Gates Foundation has denied these allegations as “absolutely absurd and completely false”.

Emails from Elon Musk to Epstein show the entrepreneur actively pursuing visits to Epstein’s private Caribbean island between 2012 and 2013. In one exchange, Musk asks about the date of a planned party on the island. While the emails do not indicate that Musk ultimately visited the island, they challenge previous claims made by Musk regarding his interactions with Epstein.

Other notable individuals whose connections are now more clearly defined include Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who arranged to visit Epstein’s island in December 2012, and Trump’s Commerce Secretary at the time. The files also reveal that Lutnick had previously called Epstein “gross” and “the greatest blackmailer ever”.

A group of survivors of Epstein’s alleged abuses has expressed concern that some of their alleged abusers remain hidden and protected. They have demanded the full release of the Epstein files, citing a need for transparency in addressing this issue.

The release of these documents marks the end of a comprehensive document identification and review process, according to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. The delay was attributed to work on redactions to protect the identities of Epstein’s over 1,000 alleged victims.
