Iran Authorities Warn Against Fifth Column Amid Ongoing Tensions

Tehran, Iran - The Ministry of Intelligence has issued a statement urging citizens to report any suspicious activity through phone calls and local messaging services. The global internet remains disconnected, with many Iranians relying on foreign-based Persian-language channels for news.

According to the ministry, “American-Zionist mercenaries” have been photographing missile impact points to send footage to online pages based outside Iran. These individuals are described as acting as a fifth column of the Zionist regime and will be punished according to law.

The Ministry has also renewed its call on people to report any suspicious activity, citing concerns about national security. Authorities have warned that those who engage in actions perceived to harm the country’s interests will face severe punishment.

Police Chief Ahmad-Reza Radan has stated that his forces have been instructed to shoot down anyone who may pose a threat during war conditions. A senior commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has also issued a warning, stating that those who do not comply with instructions will be targeted.

The Iranian government has called on citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. The global internet blackout continues, restricting access to news sources beyond state media.
