Iran claims wars cannot be won through social media platforms

Iranian Government Responds to US Comments on War Efforts

The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, has stated that wars are not won through social media campaigns. This response comes in reaction to comments made by US President Donald Trump.

According to Zolfaghari, the outcome of conflicts is determined on the battlefield, rather than through online engagement. He also criticized the US campaign name “Epic Fury”, describing it as more accurately described as “Epic Fear”.

The statement from Iran’s government follows a recent exchange between Trump and Iranian officials, in which Trump made comments about the country’s military capabilities.

In response to Zolfaghari’s remarks, Iran has reiterated its commitment to defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The country has also emphasized its determination to counter any perceived threats from external forces.

The US campaign name “Epic Fury” was chosen by the Pentagon as part of a broader effort to promote public awareness of the military’s activities. However, Zolfaghari’s comments suggest that Iran views this approach as ineffective and potentially counterproductive.

The exchange between Trump and Iranian officials has highlighted the ongoing tensions between the two countries. The situation remains fluid, with both sides continuing to engage in diplomatic efforts and military posturing.
