US and Israeli Strikes Continue to Hit Iran, Killing Civilians
Reports emerged of multiple attacks by US and Israeli forces on Iranian targets, resulting in civilian casualties. On Wednesday evening, two teenagers were killed in Shiraz, according to Iranian media. The victims, identified as Ilya and Amir Hossein Sharafi, resided in the village of Kafri.
Hours later, the Israeli military announced a “wave of extensive strikes” targeting the city of Isfahan in central Iran. Additional attacks were reported in Bandar Abbas, Karaj, Lamerd airport, Mashhad, Taybad, and other locations across the country. The UAE also confirmed that two people were killed after debris from an intercepted missile fell on a main road in Abu Dhabi.
US President Donald Trump stated that talks with Iranian leaders are underway, despite their rejection of his proposed 15-point ceasefire plan. Trump claimed that negotiations are progressing, but Iranian officials have denied contact.
Meanwhile, the conflict has expanded to other regions, including the occupied West Bank and parts of central Israel. A missile barrage injured several people in central Israel, while sirens warning of missile and rocket fire were activated across various areas.
Gulf states also reported intercepting multiple drones launched towards their territories. The Saudi Ministry of Defence shot down five drones in the Eastern province, while Kuwait’s National Guard reported two drone interceptions to protect vital sites. In Bahrain, a civil defence team extinguished a fire at a facility in Muharraq governorate without injuries.
The situation remains fluid as both sides continue to engage in military operations and diplomatic efforts.
