Iran Rejects Trumps Deadline for Strait of Hormuz Tensions

Iranian Government Officials Respond to US President’s Threats

Iranian government officials have rejected a statement made by former US President Donald Trump, describing it as “incitement to war crimes”. The comments were made in response to the latest threats issued by Trump against Iran.

According to reports, Trump stated that he would withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and impose new sanctions on Iran. Iranian officials have condemned these actions, labeling them as an attempt to “incite war crimes” against the country.

The Iranian government has reiterated its commitment to upholding its nuclear program, despite international pressure to suspend it. The country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has also stated that Iran will not be intimidated by Trump’s threats.

In response to the comments made by Trump, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Jeribi said: “The US president’s statement is a clear example of incitement to war crimes and aggression against our nation.”

Jeribi added that Iran will continue to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of any external threats.

The US Department of State has also released a statement, reiterating its commitment to upholding international law and norms. The statement did not specifically address Trump’s comments, but emphasized the importance of diplomatic engagement and cooperation between nations.

As tensions between Iran and the US continue to escalate, officials from both countries are working to de-escalate the situation through diplomatic channels.
