Israeli attacks on police sites result in deaths of five Palestinians

Multiple Palestinians killed in Israeli drone strikes in Gaza Strip

At least five Palestinians have been killed in Israeli drone attacks targeting police posts in two locations in the Gaza Strip. The incidents occurred overnight into Friday, amid a “ceasefire” phase that Israel has reportedly violated almost daily since October 10.

According to medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, three bodies and several wounded individuals arrived following an Israeli military strike on a police checkpoint in al-Maslakh intersection. The strike took place outside the Israeli military’s control area, with some of the wounded described as being in critical condition.

In another location, two Palestinians were killed and others injured in a drone strike targeting a police post at the entrance to the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem condemned the attacks, stating that they reflect “the Zionist occupation’s disregard for mediator efforts” and Israel’s failure to respect the Peace Council.

Qassem also claimed that Israel continues its military operations against the Palestinian people, despite some changes in tactics. He stated that guarantees from guarantor states regarding a ceasefire have no real substance on the ground.
