Four Palestinians injured in Hebron area incidents
Incidents of violence between Israeli forces and Palestinian civilians have occurred in the Hebron region of the occupied West Bank. On Tuesday night, Israeli forces conducted a raid in the ad-Dhahiriya area, approximately 24km southwest of Hebron, resulting in several Palestinian injuries from rubber-coated bullets fired at their feet.
Separately, four Palestinians were wounded when settlers launched an attack on the village of Khirbet Susiya in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. The incident also involved damage to property, including six structures and a car set on fire.
In another incident, settlers targeted the home of a Palestinian man currently detained by Israeli authorities in Masafer Bani Na’im, east of Hebron. The settlers stole 30 sheep, killed one, and damaged the vehicle’s tires. The man had previously been assaulted by settlers.
Israeli forces also raided homes in the town of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah, and assaulted residents. In addition, Israeli authorities have begun demolishing a building and shops at the entrance to the village of Anza, south of Jenin.
The incidents are part of an ongoing wave of violence in the West Bank, which has resulted in the deaths of at least 1,094 Palestinians since October 2023, according to United Nations figures. The UN Human Rights Council has warned that Israeli policies in the West Bank aim to uproot Palestinian communities and have raised concerns about “ethnic cleansing” by Israeli authorities.
The incidents are among an increase in settler attacks reported by the UN, with over 3,700 incidents documented until the end of 2025.
