Israels Lebanon Attacks Leave Over 120 Dead in Multiple Regions

Lebanon Reports Increased Death Toll from Israeli Attacks

A recent escalation of violence between Lebanon and Israel has resulted in a significant increase in casualties. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, at least 123 people have been killed and 683 wounded as a result of Israeli attacks on the country.

Hezbollah, a prominent Lebanese militant group, has issued warnings to Israeli residents living near the border, urging them to evacuate areas within a 5km radius. This warning comes after Israel threatened to expel residents from Beirut’s southern suburbs, prompting a large-scale exodus of people from the area.

The Israeli military has conducted multiple rounds of attacks in Dahiyeh, a densely populated suburb of Beirut where hundreds of thousands of people live. The group claims that its forces have targeted various infrastructure used by Hezbollah, including the headquarters of the Executive Council and a warehouse with drones.

Hezbollah also reported attacking Israeli ground forces, including those who entered Lebanon’s territory recently, as well as Israel’s Yoav military camp in the occupied Golan Heights and a navy base in Haifa port. There were no immediate reports of casualties from these attacks.

The Lebanese government has opened shelters for displaced people, but many have been left without means of transportation to reach them. The humanitarian crisis is growing rapidly, with hundreds of thousands of people forced to flee their homes due to the conflict.

In a statement, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for attacking Israeli forces and warned that its military’s aggression against Lebanese sovereignty would not be tolerated. Israel has maintained that it will not evacuate its border towns and has sent more soldiers into Lebanon as a defensive measure.
