Jazz defeat Mavericks, snap 5-game losing streak in NBA action

Anthony Edwards Achieves Milestone as Wolves Defeat Cavaliers

The Minnesota Timberwolves secured a victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, with Anthony Edwards reaching the milestone of 10,000 career points. Edwards, who is 24 years and 156 days old, became the third-youngest player in NBA history to achieve this feat.

Edwards scored 25 points on 10-for-20 shooting, while teammate Jaden McDaniels contributed 26 points on 11-for-14 shooting. The Wolves held off a late Cavaliers rally to secure a win.

In other games, Lauri Markkanen led the Utah Jazz to a 116-114 victory over the Dallas Mavericks, with 33 points and seven rebounds. Keyonte George added 19 points and seven assists for the home side.

Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam scored 30 points, including 18 in the first half, as the Indiana Pacers defeated the Charlotte Hornets 114-112. Siakam also grabbed 14 rebounds and hit the winning shot with 11.5 seconds left.

The Mavericks committed 20 turnovers and lost for the fifth time in their last seven games. The Pacers’ TJ McConnell scored 23 points off the bench, while Aaron Nesmith contributed 16 points.

Edwards’ achievement marks him as one of seven players to reach 10,000 career points before age 25, alongside Kobe Bryant, Luka Doncic, Tracy McGrady, and Carmelo Anthony.
