Lakers fall to Thunder in Game 4, securing NBA playoff sweep

Oklahoma City Thunder Advances to Western Conference Finals

The Oklahoma City Thunder have completed a four-game sweep over the Los Angeles Lakers, advancing to the NBA Western Conference finals. On Monday, the visiting team defeated the Lakers 115-110, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 35 points.

Ajay Mitchell contributed 28 points, while Chet Holmgren added 16 points and nine rebounds. Jared McCain also scored 13 points in the game. The Thunder improved to 8-0 in the playoffs, shooting 51.9% from the floor.

The Lakers were led by Austin Reaves with 27 points, Rui Hachimura with 25 points and eight rebounds, and LeBron James with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Jaxson Hayes added 18 points for the team.

The Thunder will face either the Minnesota Timberwolves or the San Antonio Spurs in the next round. The Lakers played without Luka Doncic, who was injured during a game at Oklahoma City on April 2.

In other news, Donovan Mitchell scored an NBA-playoff-record-tying 39 points in the second half of Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 112-103 victory over the Detroit Pistons.
