Madison Square Garden Issues Warning Ahead of Upcoming Events
Madison Square Garden has issued a warning to attendees at its upcoming events, stating that any violent behavior will result in a lifetime ban from the venue. The warning comes after multiple altercations were reported during an event last week.
According to a statement released by the venue, “violence will not be condoned at MSG across all types of events.” The statement also clarified that individuals found to participate in violent activity will face a permanent ban, preventing them from attending or participating in any future events held at the venue.
The warning was issued after an incident during a recent news conference for a boxing event. The fighters on stage exchanged insults about family members, and some audience members were heard shouting. Additionally, there was an altercation reported near the cage during a UFC event held at the venue earlier this month.
The warning is in effect ahead of a busy weekend at Madison Square Garden, which includes a sold-out boxing event featuring Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson, as well as a nationally televised game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks.
