UEFA has announced the draw for the 2025/26 Champions League last 16 games. The matches have been determined and will be played in two rounds.
Real Madrid will face Manchester City, with this being their fourth consecutive season of competing against each other in a knockout Champions League clash. Paris Saint-Germain will play Chelsea, repeating their FIFA 2025 Club World Cup final from last year’s competition. Barcelona will face Newcastle United, while Tottenham Hotspur will take on Atletico Madrid and Arsenal will play Bayer Leverkusen.
Liverpool will host Galatasaray in a rematch of their league phase game, which the Turkish side won 1-0 in Istanbul. Sporting Lisbon will face Norwegian minnows, with Bayern Munich set to face the only Italian side remaining in the competition.
The first legs of the matches will be played on March 10-11, followed by the second legs on March 17-18. The seeded teams, who finished in the top eight spots in the league phase, will host their second leg matches against the playoff round qualifiers.
This draw marks the beginning of the competition’s knockout stage, with each team now knowing their possible quarterfinal and semifinal opponents.
