Nine killed, dozens wounded in Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory

Ukraine Reports Significant Damage from Overnight Drone and Missile Strikes
At least 12 people have been killed and dozens wounded in Russian missile and drone strikes across Ukraine, according to Ukrainian authorities. The attacks occurred overnight, with a total of 656 drones and 73 missiles launched by Russia.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that at least four people were killed in the city, while 58 others, including two children, were wounded. Governor Oleksandr Ganzha stated that eight people were killed and 36 others, including children, were wounded in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
In addition to these attacks, a Ukrainian drone strike was reported to have killed one person in Russia’s Kursk region near the border with Ukraine. Another drone attack sparked a fire at an oil refinery in the southwestern city of Krasnodar.
Russia’s Ministry of Defence stated that the bombardment targeted Ukraine’s military-industrial complex and energy and transport infrastructure used by the Ukrainian military. The attacks were aimed at targets in Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as other areas.
The situation remains fluid, with ongoing reports of damage and casualties. Ukrainian authorities have urged citizens to exercise caution and follow safety precautions.
