Novak Djokovic Advances to Australian Open Semifinals After Musetti Withdraws Due to Injury
Novak Djokovic has secured a spot in the Australian Open semifinals after his opponent, Lorenzo Musetti, withdrew from their match due to a groin injury. The fifth-seeded Italian was leading 6-4, 6-3, 1-3 when he retired hurt, allowing Djokovic to advance to the next round.
Djokovic will now face either Jannik Sinner or Ben Shelton in the semifinals. He has been competing at a high level, and his victory over Musetti marked a significant milestone in his career. Djokovic surpassed Roger Federer’s record for most singles wins at Melbourne Park with his 103rd win.
