Oscars 2026 announce full list of winners and nominees

The 98th Academy Awards ceremony took place on Sunday night, with several films emerging as major winners. Paul Thomas Anderson’s film “One Battle After Another” won six Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director. The film also received awards for Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, Best Film Editing, and Best Casting.
Michael B Jordan won the award for Best Actor for his role in “Sinners”, while Jessie Buckley took home the award for Best Actress for her performance in “Hamnet”. Amy Madigan was recognized as Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Weapons”.
In addition to these acting awards, several other films received recognition. The South Korean musical fantasy film “KPop Demon Hunters” won two Oscars, including Best Animated Film and Best Music (Original Song). Frankenstein also secured two awards.

- Best Animated Short Film: The Girl Who Cried Pearls
