Pentagon releases new files on UFO sightings, invites public to draw conclusions

The US Department of War has announced that it will begin releasing previously classified files related to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), also commonly referred to as UFOs. The move is part of the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, or PURSUE.

According to a statement from the department, the release of these files will provide the public with access to previously classified information on UAP sightings. However, the department emphasized that it will not be providing any analysis or interpretation of the data.

The files include photographs, videos, and documents related to UAP sightings, which were collected by the US military between 2004 and 2021. The release of these files is intended to allow the public to “make up their own minds” about the nature and significance of these sightings.

The department stated that the release of these files was a result of a request from Congress, who had been pushing for greater transparency on UAP sightings. The move is seen as a significant step forward in efforts to shed light on these mysterious phenomena.

A total of dozens of files have been released so far, and more are expected to follow in the coming weeks and months.
