Rapper Arrested on Suspicion of Murdering Teenage Girl

LA Police Arrest David Anthony Burke on Suspicion of Murder

Los Angeles police have taken 21-year-old singer David Anthony Burke, known by his stage name d4vd, into custody on suspicion of murdering a 14-year-old girl. The arrest was made on Thursday.

Burke is being held without bail pending further investigation. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office will review the case against him on Monday for formal charges.

According to police, Burke’s car was impounded last year and contained a decomposed body that was later identified as 14-year-old Celeste Rivas. An autopsy revealed that Rivas had been deceased inside the vehicle for an extended period before being found. The discovery occurred one day before Rivas would have turned 15.

The police department stated that Burke’s arrest is related to the murder of Rivas, whose body was found in his car. Burke’s lawyers have issued a statement denying their client’s involvement in Rivas’ death and stating they will “vigorously defend” his innocence.
