In other Champions League news, Paris St Germain secured a 5-2 victory over Chelsea in their first-leg tie at the Parc des Princes. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored twice for PSG, while Luis Enrique’s side came back from two goals down to win the match.

In another early match, Arsenal’s eight-game winning run in the Champions League came to an end as they drew 1-1 with Bayer Leverkusen. Kai Havertz scored a late penalty for the German side, canceling out Robert Andrich’s earlier goal.
