Seattle Seahawks Defeat New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX
The Seattle Seahawks secured their second Super Bowl title by defeating the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday. The game saw a dominant defensive display from the Seahawks, who sacked Patriots quarterback Drake Maye six times.
Seattle started the game with an eight-play drive that set up a 33-yard field goal by Jason Myers, giving them an early lead. Myers later doubled the Seattle lead in the second quarter from 39 yards and connected for a third time in the closing seconds of the half. The Patriots punted on all five of their possessions during the first half.
In the second half, the Seahawks extended their lead with a touchdown drive that included a fumble by Maye, which was returned for a late score. The Patriots responded with a touchdown drive of their own, but were unable to recover an onside kick after a strip sack of Maye.
The game saw several key plays, including a 44-yard return by Uchenna Nwosu and a long run of 30 yards by Seattle running back Walker III. Walker was named the Most Valuable Player after rushing for 135 yards on 27 carries.
The final score was 29-13 in favor of the Seahawks, who avenged their loss to the Patriots in Super Bowl LX 11 years ago. The game marked a significant moment for the team and its fans, as they claimed their second Super Bowl title.
