Spurs Rebound Against Timberwolves in NBA Playoff Matchup

San Antonio Spurs Defeat Minnesota Timberwolves 133-95 in Western Conference Semifinals

The San Antonio Spurs secured a crucial win in their Western Conference semifinals series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, defeating them 133-95 at home on Wednesday. The victory leveled the series at one game apiece.

In the second quarter, the Spurs took control of the game, expanding their initial seven-point lead to a 24-point advantage by halftime. They continued to dominate in the third period, with Julian Champagnie scoring all 12 of his points via four three-pointers. The Spurs then cruised to the finish, building their lead to as many as 47 points.

Stephon Castle led the Spurs with 21 points, while De’Aaron Fox scored 16 and Harrison Barnes added 12. Victor Wembanyama contributed 19 points and 15 rebounds for the Spurs. The team’s strong performance was marked by their ability to crash the offensive boards early and pass to the open man.

The New York Knicks also secured a win in their Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Philadelphia 76ers, taking control of the best-of-seven set with an 108-102 victory in Game 2. The Knicks’ Karl-Anthony Towns produced 20 points despite playing just 27 minutes due to foul trouble.

Game 3 is scheduled for Friday in Minneapolis, while Game 3 and 4 of the series between the Spurs and Timberwolves will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
