Tennis Stars Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner Visit Hyundai Card Headquarters in Seoul
Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner attended an event at the Hyundai Card headquarters in Seoul last week. The tennis players walked into a hall dressed in contrasting attire, with Alcaraz wearing white and Sinner wearing black. They were greeted by applause from reporters, photographers, and employees.
The two players have been rivals on the court for four years, since their first meeting at an ATP tour event in France. In November 2021, Sinner mentioned that he hoped to face Alcaraz again in future matches. However, they did not meet until later than expected.
Alcaraz stated that playing against Sinner has helped him improve his game. “We have pushed each other to be better,” he said. The players have dominated the men’s tour for two years, sharing major titles and alternating as the world number one.
Sinner recalled their first meeting in Paris, where their rivalry began. He expressed surprise at Alcaraz’s rapid progress and acknowledged that their rivalry has been beneficial for both players. “It was a great moment that match, that moment we had at the net,” Alcaraz said.
The two players were seen engaging in light-hearted activities off the court, including a table tennis match and playing an exhibition tennis match in front of a sold-out crowd. They also participated in promotional events, such as filming short videos and completing challenges.
Their visit to Seoul was part of their preparations for the upcoming Grand Slam season. The event provided an opportunity for fans to see the players up close and get a glimpse into their relationship.
