Arsenal Secures 4-1 Win Over Tottenham in North London Derby
In a Premier League match on Sunday, Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 at their home stadium. The win moved the Gunners five points clear at the top of the table.
Eberechi Eze scored two goals for Arsenal, while Viktor Gyokeres also netted twice. The England midfielder’s second goal came just minutes after Tottenham equalized in the match. Randal Kolo Muani scored the equalizer for Tottenham in the 34th minute.
Gyokeres gave Arsenal a 2-1 lead with a shot from the edge of the area in the 47th minute, and Eze extended the lead with a rebound goal in the 61st minute after Bukayo Saka’s shot was saved. Gyokeres scored again in stoppage time to seal the win.
Arsenal has 10 league games remaining in their bid for a top-flight title. Eze has scored six league goals this season, five of which have been against Tottenham. When asked about his record against Spurs, Eze stated that he tries to score every single game and it seems to work out well against Tottenham.
