Staffing shortages have led to extended wait times for travelers at several US airports. Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) reported a three-story security checkpoint, with lines stretching up to 3 floors high.

In contrast, the situation has improved at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY), where weekend delays have subsided. Volunteers have been providing support to unpaid TSA workers.

At Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), travelers faced lengthy wait times, while Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) closed two security checkpoints, resulting in massive lines at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

Additionally, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) experienced delays due to the arrival of ICE agents assisting TSA personnel.
