Iran-Israel Conflict Enters 20th Day with Escalating Attacks
The conflict between Israel and Iran has entered its 20th day, with both sides engaging in a series of attacks on key energy infrastructure across the region. Senior Iranian officials have been targeted in assassinations, while Israeli forces have launched strikes against Iran’s South Pars gasfield, which is reportedly the world’s largest.
In response to these attacks, Iran launched missile strikes against oil and gas facilities in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The targets included Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City, where fires were reported.
Separately, a US government official has been accused of altering her testimony before the Senate regarding intelligence on Iran. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is said to have omitted details that contradicted President Donald Trump’s claims about Tehran posing an imminent threat.
The developments in the conflict are unfolding as the situation continues to escalate across multiple fronts. The latest attacks and allegations highlight the growing tensions between Israel, Iran, and other regional players.
