US and Israel Launch Strikes on Iran’s Oil Facilities
The United States and Israel have continued their military operations against Iran, targeting oil storage depots and refining facilities for the first time. The strikes are part of a broader escalation in the conflict, which has now expanded to include the Gulf region.
On Saturday, an attack was launched on one of Iran’s oil depots. This marks a significant development in the ongoing conflict, as it involves the targeting of critical infrastructure such as oil storage facilities and refining plants.
Iran has responded to the strikes by launching retaliatory attacks on Israel and US military assets in several countries, including Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. However, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian had previously stated that Iran would halt its attacks on Gulf states as long as their territories were not used to attack Iran.
As of day nine of the conflict, the situation remains fluid. The US and Israel continue to carry out strikes against Iranian targets, while Iran responds with retaliatory measures. The exact extent of the damage caused by these strikes is not yet clear.
