US Negotiators to Visit Pakistan for Iran Ceasefire Talks

US President Announces Upcoming Talks with Pakistan Amid Tensions with Iran

Washington D.C. - US President Donald Trump has announced that American negotiators will be traveling to Islamabad, Pakistan on Monday for talks aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict between the US and Iran.

According to a social media post by the President on Sunday, the US delegation will meet with Iranian officials in Islamabad as part of a second round of in-person negotiations. The details of which officials will attend have not been disclosed.

Last weekend’s talks, led by Vice President JD Vance, concluded without an agreement. Trump has accused Iran of violating a two-week ceasefire that is set to expire on Wednesday, citing the firing of bullets in the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday as evidence.

In his post, Trump stated that the US is offering a deal to Iran, which he described as “very fair and reasonable.” He warned that if the deal is not accepted, the US will take severe action, including destroying civilian infrastructure in Iran.
