US President Trump Establishes Gaza Board of Peace with Blair and Kushner

The White House has announced that former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will be joining President Donald Trump’s “Board of Peace” as one of its seven founding executive members.

According to a statement released by the White House on Friday, Blair will work alongside other board members, including Jared Kushner, Marco Rubio, Steve Witkoff, Marc Rowan, Ajay Banga, and Robert Gabriel. The board is expected to oversee Trump’s 20-point plan aimed at ending Israel’s conflict with Palestinians in Gaza.

The announcement comes ahead of the launch of the second phase of a US-brokered peace plan for Gaza, which has resulted in the deaths of over 71,000 Palestinians since October 2023. The White House did not provide further details on the board or its role in implementing Trump’s plan.

Blair will join other high-profile individuals on the board, including Kushner and Witkoff, who serves as the US special envoy to the Middle East. Rowan, Banga, and Gabriel are also among the founding executive members of the board.

The Board of Peace is a new entity established by President Trump, and its exact role and responsibilities have not been publicly disclosed.
