Video shows Alex Pretti allegedly spitting at agents and damaging SUV

A video has surfaced showing Alex Pretti, a 25-year-old man from Minnesota, spitting at federal agents and damaging an SUV on the day before he was fatally shot by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers. The incident occurred in Minneapolis.

According to reports, Pretti had been involved in an altercation with federal officers 11 days prior to his death. Videos of this earlier confrontation have also surfaced.

The CBP shooting has left the department in turmoil, with agents involved in the incident being placed on leave.

A vigil was held at a Durham VA facility for Alex Pretti, and a new video of the Minneapolis shooting victim has been released.

CBP officials have not commented on the circumstances surrounding Pretti’s death or the earlier altercation.
