What will the fallout be from the unrest in Pakistan-administered Kashmir?

Clashes between protesters and police in Pakistan-administered Kashmir have resulted in the deaths of at least 11 individuals. The Joint Awami Action Committee is reportedly involved in the protests, which are centered around a proposed rule that would allocate legislative seats to refugees from India-administered Kashmir residing in Pakistan.
The committee claims that this provision would grant disproportionate representation to these individuals, potentially affecting the balance of power in the divided region. However, government officials argue that any changes to the existing legislation would necessitate constitutional reform.
This issue has been a topic of discussion among politicians in Pakistan-administered Kashmir for an extended period. The government is now facing increased tensions as protests continue to escalate.
Three individuals have agreed to participate in a discussion on this matter: Maria Iqbal Tarana, senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz; Sahar Khan, nonresident fellow at the Institute for Global Affairs; and Imtiaz Gul, executive director at the Center for Research and Security Studies.
