Coaching Legacy Takes Center Stage as New Season Begins
John Greiner, the newly appointed head coach at Pennsbury High School, has big aspirations for his team’s upcoming season. A proud alumnus and former assistant coach under his predecessor, Greiner is determined to lead the Falcons to the top of the SOL National League standings. A 10-year veteran of the program, Greiner brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the head coaching role. During his time as an assistant, he helped shape the team’s identity and contributed to several successful seasons. Now, with the reins in his hands, Greiner is focused on building on that success and creating a winning culture at Pennsbury. “Our goal is to be ‘on top of the mountain’,” Greiner said during a recent interview. “We want to be the team that everyone looks up to in the league. We’ll need to work hard, stay focused, and play with heart if we’re going to achieve that.” Greiner’s vision for the program includes a strong emphasis on teamwork, discipline, and academic excellence. He believes that by fostering a positive team culture, his players will not only become better football players but also well-rounded individuals who can succeed in life. The Falcons have high expectations for this season, and Greiner is confident that they can meet them. With a talented roster and a seasoned coaching staff, Pennsbury is poised to make a deep run in the postseason. As the regular season gets underway, fans are eager to see how their team will perform under new leadership. “We’re excited about the future of our program,” Greiner said. “We have a lot of talent and a lot of heart. I’m proud to be leading this team and I know we can achieve great things.”
