TAR HEELS RAMP UP DEFENSE WITH HOILETTE ADDITION
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill men’s basketball team is set to host the Boston Celtics in a highly anticipated matchup on Saturday night. The Tar Heels, who are currently ranked No. 2 in the nation, will look to continue their dominant performance from last season with the addition of Donovan Hoilette, a talented edge rusher from Richmond who has committed to spend his final year of eligibility at UNC. Hoilette’s unique skillset and athletic ability made him an attractive recruit for Tar Heels coach Mike Morgan, who is known for his ability to identify and develop talent in all positions. “Donovan is a game-changer,” said Morgan. “His speed, agility, and strength make him a nightmare to match up against, and we’re excited to see him bring that same energy to our defensive line.” The Tar Heels’ addition of Hoilette marks the second major recruit of the class, following in the footsteps of talented running back Jackson Williams, who committed earlier this year. With Hoilette on board, UNC is poised to become a force to be reckoned with in the Atlantic Coast Conference. “We’re thrilled to have Donovan join our program,” said UNC coach Mike Morgan. “He’s an elite athlete with incredible potential, and we can’t wait to see him take the field.” Hoilette will enter the 2024 season as a starting edge rusher for the Tar Heels, where he will look to make an immediate impact on defense.
