AI-Powered Fast Food Revolution Hits Dairy Queen
Dairy Queen is rolling out an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot to its drive-thrus across the US and Canada, marking a significant shift for the fast-food chain as it seeks to enhance customer experience and streamline service. Built by Presto, the AI company behind similar implementations at Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s, Taco John’s, and Fazoli’s, the chatbot aims to provide personalized assistance to customers, allowing them to place orders more efficiently. According to reports, Presto’s technology may even utilize human workers in locations like the Philippines to support drive-thru operations, although this aspect is not yet clear. As part of its expansion, Dairy Queen is introducing the AI-powered chatbot to dozens of its drive-thrus, with a wider rollout expected in the coming months.
