AI-Powered Personalization Coming to Apple Music with iOS 26.4 Update
Apple has unveiled several updates in its latest iOS version, 26.4, including a new AI-driven playlist feature for Apple Music that uses machine learning algorithms to generate personalized playlists based on user preferences and music library. The update also brings a concert discovery feature, allowing users to find nearby shows featuring artists from their library as well as recommended ones by the app. Users can access this feature within the Music app or by visiting the Today View section of their iPhone home screen. In addition to these features, iOS 26.4 introduces full-screen backgrounds for album and playlist pages, providing a more immersive listening experience. The update also improves Offline Music Recognition, which now identifies songs without an internet connection and delivers results automatically. Other updates include improvements to text messaging, with new emojis and stickers added to the Messages app, as well as support for the latest Apple Watch features.
