Amazon Thwarts Large-Scale Cyber Recruitment Effort by Suspected North Korean Agents

Amazon has reportedly blocked over 1,800 job applications it suspected were from individuals linked to the North Korean government. The company’s chief security officer stated that these attempts involved applicants utilizing stolen or fabricated identities to apply for remote working positions in information technology.
