This new tool is designed to handle tasks typically handled by Claude Code, but in a user-friendly format suitable for non-coding tasks. The company released Claude Cowork as a research preview to gather insights on how users interact with the feature and refine its development accordingly. Currently, Claude Cowork is available exclusively through Anthropic’s macOS app and requires access to the Claude Max tier, which costs between $100 and $200. By offering a more approachable version of its AI agent, Anthropic aims to expand Claude’s user base and take advantage of the growing interest in the technology.
