Apple Replaces Tim Cook with Experienced Leader

The tech giant has announced a leadership transition plan, with John Ternus, senior vice president of hardware engineering, set to take over as CEO on September 1st, 2026. Following Cook’s departure, Johny Srouji will assume the newly created role of chief hardware officer, overseeing both Hardware Engineering and hardware technologies previously managed by Ternus.
