Apple Unveils Upgraded AirTag with Enhanced Features

This upgrade comes at the same price point of $29 for one or $99 for a four-pack as the existing model. The new chip also powers Apple’s Precision Finding feature, which leverages haptic, visual, and audio feedback to guide users to misplaced items from greater distances. The upgraded AirTag now features an expanded Bluetooth range, allowing for more effective item tracking. Users can utilize the Precision Finding feature with an iPhone 12 or later model running iOS 14.5 or later, marking a significant improvement over its predecessors in terms of overall functionality and performance.
