Apple's sci-fi thriller Dark Matter returns in August

Apple has announced that its multiversal thriller Dark Matter is coming back for its second season, which will begin streaming on August 28th. Spanning 10 episodes and concluding in October, Season 2 will delve deeper into the alternate reality drama that defined the first installment. Adapted from Blake Crouch’s novel, the show follows physics professor Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton) as he navigates a complex web of timelines and parallel universes after being abducted by an alternate version of himself.
