The latest innovation from Bluesky, the team behind the popular social media platform, is an AI-powered app called Attie that enables users to craft their own customized algorithm for content recommendations. This cutting-edge technology leverages Anthropic’s Claude and builds upon Bluesky’s underlying AT Protocol (atproto) framework. At the Atmosphere conference, former CEO Jay Graber and CTO Paul Frazee showcased Attie, which allows users to curate feeds using natural language inputs, such as “posts about folklore, mythology, and traditional music, especially Celtic traditions.” Initially available in a standalone app, Attie’s capabilities will expand to include social media platforms like Bluesky and other atproto apps, revolutionizing the way users interact with their online content.
