Audeze, now owned by Sony, has launched an upgraded version of its Maxwell gaming headset at CES, featuring larger, magnetically attachable ear pads that simplify replacement. The Maxwell 2 is available now, priced at $329 for PlayStation and $349 for Xbox, offering compatibility with Windows, macOS, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. Equipped with 90mm magnetic drivers, the headset promises up to 80 hours of battery life and delivers a frequency range of 10Hz to 50Hz, accurately reproducing both subtle details and intense audio events.
